Put the GM master on my 4runner and bleed everything out. Fixed my problem, the pedal feels great and stops on a dime. I am just runingthe proportioning valve with out the residual valve. All I need to do now is adjust the proportion valve for the rear brakes.

The pedal does get higher as I pump but I have to pump it about 4 time to get a pedal. I Have read everything on pirate and from everything that I have read people with older trucks never have the problem. I did read that a guy with a 94 runner had the same problem that I was have with the same set ...

I have got it all figered out. I am not pushing enough volume to the mante carlo rear brakes. the 1" master is to small so I will have to go up to a GM master and the adapter plate that bolts on to a toyota booster.

Yes dave it is your master I have on there. the pedal bleeds down when I crack the bleeders but it will not go to the floor when I first bleed the rear and then i have to bleed the fronts to get the pedal to go to the floor.

So I swapped my 95 4runner to rear disc brakes. I am using the sky brackets and chevy calipers. I have a new master I bought from dave and the proportioning valve and 10lb check valve set up from dave also. Get the marlin seals. They are great and I have had no problem with them in my runner.
