K, quite a few changes this morning.

I found that security settings weren't set appropriately on alot of the forum topics, so as some may have noticed bbcodes weren't working (for instance, quotes) on some. I ran 2 sql query syntax's against the forum DB to enable by default all smilies and bbcode for every registered user, and fixed the permissions on the registered users group to include this on new registrations moving forward.

Also, at the bottom of threads... everyone now should have the option to quick reply which is very useful.

I was to lazy to mention quick reply before, do you have any idea how long it took me to type that suggestion???? :scratchhead

And by being lazy, I was able to steal your thunder! or at least make a attempt at it

Ohh, and is it possible to add a small smilly box next to quick reply? I had to go into full editor to insert a couple in my previous post :)

We have a shoutbox! I'm not to crazy with it's lack of settings and design, but it's cool for now. I'm looking into other solutions, so if it goes down... it's probably because i'm installing another one :)

Hey Kevin

Looking sweet. I have only one minor suggestion and that is more for first time visitors than anything else:

Do a separate parts link on the home page rather than lumping the parts under the more general forum heading.

Hope you guys are busy and staying warm. We have been in low double digits the last 5 days....

Thank you; and that's a good suggestion, however instead of spending time to create the image(s), link(s), and possibly re-organizing the forum for this to be done right... we are focusing on creating an online store. When it's complete, it will either be the homepage with a link to the forum or have a main index with links to either the store or the forum. We'll make that decision when the time comes :)

If you come up with any other brainstorming idea's, please let us know :)

Can you automate the elite subscription process like Vbulletin board does?

Kevin, the Favicon looks sweet :yahoo:

I was thinking what would look good for it, the D is very clean and simple.

Don't know if this is the right place. But maybe look into splitting the used/new/service sections of Dave'Z sales. Maybe a different shop# dedicated to only sales or something. Try to cut down on the phone time.....we all like BS'ing on the phone, but it's gotta get tedious.....

I think maybe there needs to be a products suggestion section on the page too. I was thinking a shave/plate/truss kit for the Toy axles might be something simple to offer for those who can't pony up for a *bling* aftermarket housing. A DIY type kit that somebody with access to a peanut grinder and a welder could install in their garage.
